Research, ideate, and produce a homegood to be sold at the 8th Annual Design Winter Market
Flip Pouch is a new take on portable cable organization. Made from recycled billboard vinyl, Flip Pouch features tandem pockets that allow you to organize earbuds, charging blocks, and most importantly, your cables. The central winding mechanism in each pouch lets you access both ends of your cable when it's needed, then wind it back up without ever having to remove it from the bag. This winding mechanism is compatible with Micro-USB, USB-C, and Lightning cables. It is also removable, creating a multifunctional pocket that lets you customize your Flip Pouch experience.

Research
Our initial research focus was on how individuals organized various media on flat surfaces within their home and workspace. This scope was then narrowed to the management of technology and cables.
After multiple rounds of ethnographic research, the actionable insights that informed our ideation process were:
